The Could Packaging Solutions Division also owns Span Contract Services, a producer of single pack towelettes, swabs and other pharmaceutical packaging and Cloud Packaging, a high-speed food packager that uses nonwovens in applications such as coffee packets for automatic drip coffee machines. The companies predict that the acquisition will allow Multi-Pack to offer its customers an even wider variety of packaging options. The association is expected to make Multi-Pack a stronger player in the contract manufacture of saturated nonwoven products and give its employees and customers a strong platform for growth. Multi-Pack is a specialist in the conversion and packaging of saturated nonwoven fabrics serving medical, cleanroom, personal care, industrial, office, retail, automotive and specialty chemical markets. “We focus on providing our customers with differentiation in the markets they serve,” offered Michael Kryshak, Multi-Pack’s vice president of sales and marketing. He added that Multi-Pack offers canisters in a variety of sizes and shapes and will develop proprietary canisters needed to exceed its customer’s goals. Multi-Pack also offers refill pouches for the canisters it sells, offering customers an alternative to throwing away canisters after a single use. According to Mr Kryshak, Multi-Pack and the Cloud companies possess a keen knowledge of the disposables industry with regard to equipment, manufacturing, converting technologies, quality practices, chemistries, nonwovens, packaging and product development. “This knowledge sets us apart from our competition,” he said. “This technology allows us more manufacturing flexibility in the conversion of a variety of papers, laminates and nonwovens to help differentiate our customers’ product offerings.” Multi-Pack operates a 40,000-square-foot facility in Milwaukee, which is temperature-controlled and manufactures products under current GMPs (good manufacturing practices). The plant is a registered EPA facility and runs products under FDA guidelines. Looking ahead to the future, Mr. Kryshak forecast that Multi-Pack will continue to focus on developing new product offerings to maximize its customers’ success.
